Terms of Use
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These terms apply when you use the Glug app. By using Glug, you agree to them.
Who can use Glug
You must be 21 or older in the United States, or the legal drinking age where you live. One person per account, and keep your sign-in to yourself. Glug does not sell alcohol.
Glug is operated by Glug, located at 140 Riverside Blvd, New York, NY.
Your content
You own what you post on Glug: your logs, ratings, tasting words, comments and display name. You let Glug store it and show it to other Glug users as your settings allow. Our privacy policy explains what other Glug users can see.
Community rules
Glug has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or do any of the following:
- Harassment, bullying or threats
- Hate speech
- Sexual content
- Spam or advertising
- Pretending to be someone else
- Sharing someone else's private information
- Anything illegal, including selling alcohol or encouraging underage or dangerous drinking
How we enforce them
Comments are filtered for offensive words. You can report any profile, log or comment, and block anyone. We review every report within 24 hours. When content breaks these rules, we remove it and suspend or delete the account that posted it.
Recommendations
Glug's matches, scores and estimates are suggestions based on your taste, not professional advice. Drink responsibly, and never drink and drive.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms.
No warranty
Glug is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Glug is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
Changes
We will update these terms as Glug grows, and tell you about material changes before they take effect. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
